As the Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing the company’s financial operations and processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency while contributing to the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project and accounting processes in Deltek Costpoint, ensuring accurate financial systems and resolving employee or system-related issues.
- Manage month-end close tasks, including reconciliations, job cost reviews, journal entries, revenue recognition, and internal controls, while preparing financial reports.
- Establish and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance, and support efficient accounting operations.
- Conduct job cost analysis, WIP reviews, and variance analyses, providing actionable insights and corrective measures in collaboration with management.
- Administer billing, treasury, accounts payable, and payroll functions while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
- Experience in the construction, engineering or architectural industries highly preferred.
- High proficiency in Excel. Experience with Deltek Costpoint a plus.
- Depending upon experience, salary: $85k - $100k, plus bonus and competitive benefits.
Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
