Senior Financial Analyst Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Recognition & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Analyze and review customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue treatment.
- Work closely with accounting teams to ensure accurate revenue reporting and forecasting.
- Assist in developing and maintaining revenue recognition policies and procedures.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial trends.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue streams and improve financial performance.
- Develop and enhance financial models for revenue projections and business decision-making.
- Reporting & Data Analysis:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for senior leadership.
- Utilize data analytics to drive insights into key financial metrics.
- Support the implementation of financial systems and automation tools for efficiency.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Sales, Legal, and Accounting teams to review revenue contracts.
- Provide recommendations on deal structuring to ensure compliance with ASC 606.
- Assist in audit and compliance processes, ensuring financial integrity.
- 5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or FP&A.
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition (REQUIRED)
- Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel & financial modeling
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
