This individual will focus on the development, implementation, and testing of digital signal processing algorithms and communications protocols for wireless systems. Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000

Senior FPGA Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct FPGA development using Transceivers/Serdes
- Work with FPGA design tool flows including Quartus or Vivado
- Gather requirements for various FPGA projects and lead them from start to finish
- Work on various projects and products from conceptual design to implementation
- Create and execute test plans using external test equipment including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and protocol analyzers
- Assist in the development of System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures
Education/Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar degree
- MS in Electrical Engineering is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional work experience with FPGA Design
Required Skills
- Experience with Transceivers/Serdes for FPGA development is a must
- Knowledgeable with RTL logic design and verification with Verilog and/or VHDL
- High-level knowledge of the FPGA software development lifecycle
- demonstrated experience developing, testing, and implementing, FPGA solutions
- Experienced with Quartus or Vivado
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality standard requirements
- Strong skills with C/C programming
- Knowledge and experience with FPGA and DSP (Digital Signal Processing)
- Proficiency in Linux OS and Linux Device Driver
- Previous work experience completing new projects from start to finish
- Occasional domestic travel estimated at about 10%
- Occasional after-hours work, particularly during product trials
