- Perform accounting, auditing, analysis, and reporting related to payroll operations.
- Review and maintain payroll processes and procedures, conducting audits to identify and address discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed reports and custom reconciliations for senior management.
- Compile, analyze, and report payroll data with a focus on accuracy and insight.
- Reconcile multiple payroll system accounts to ensure precision.
- Create and manage journal entries related to payroll activities.
- Assist in analyzing earnings, deductions, and other payroll data.
- Support payroll controls, reporting, and auditing functions.
- Contribute to preparing schedules and gathering documentation for quarterly reviews and year-end external audits.
- Mentor and develop payroll team members by providing training, guidance, and support to enhance their skills and ensure consistent adherence to payroll processes and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or something similar from an accredited institution
- Bilingual is a plus, not a must.
- Union payroll experience required.
- Experience processing payroll utilizing Lawson or any other larger HRIS system.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, including custom reporting development.
Salary : $70,000 - $95,000
