In this role, you will be responsible for revenue contracts - reviewing, monitoring financial obligations, and assisting with month-end close.

Key Responsibilities For Senior Revenue Accountant

• The Senior Revenue Accountant will manage the revenue accounting function (ASC 606) in regard to contracts and amendments for multiple revenue streams
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities related to revenue
• The Senior Revenue Accountant will analyze revenue trends and variances to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Support annual external audits by providing analysis and documentation, liaising with auditors as needed
• Assist with developing and improving revenue accounting policies, processes, and systems
• Participate and seek ways to improve technology or process automation efforts
  
  

Required Skills/Experience For The Senior Revenue Accountant

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• Public accounting experience highly preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or similar credentials are preferred
• In-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, particularly revenue recognition (ASC 606)
