Primary Responsibilities
- The Senior Staff Accountant will play a key role in managing accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Primary responsibilities include:
- Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes by preparing journal entries.
- Overseeing financial reporting, including balance sheet analysis, cash flow management, and capital expenditure tracking.
- Performing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations in the Blackline system to align with company policies and SOX compliance.
- Managing intangible assets, prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, and other financial accounts.
- Supporting both internal and external audits by preparing requested financial documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with Sales & Use tax and property tax regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with JD Edwards software is strongly preferred; candidates must be comfortable working with financial systems.
- Background in manufacturing accounting is highly desirable.
- Experience in public accounting is a plus.
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
