What You’ll Do
As our Cost Accountant, you’ll play a key role in analyzing and tracking costs to help us stay lean, strategic, and profitable. You’ll work closely with operations, finance, and leadership to ensure accurate reporting and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze production and operational costs; identify trends and variances
- Maintain and update cost accounting systems, standards, and records
- Work with inventory and purchasing to ensure accurate cost valuation
- Support month-end close and financial reporting processes
- Partner with operations to provide insight into cost-saving opportunities
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Prepare reports for management to support business decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years of accounting or related experience (manufacturing or construction industry a plus)
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience preferred
- Analytical mindset with great communication skills and a collaborative spirit
