- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, including supply chain logistics, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high service standards.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop operations teams to maximize performance and ensure consistent execution of company standards and policies.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current operational processes and workflows, implementing improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with company growth objectives, including technology adoption and service expansion.
- Vendor and Supplier Relations: Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, particularly regarding fuel handling, transportation, and storage.
- Budget Management: Oversee operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective management of resources while maintaining service quality.
- Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with customer service teams to ensure high levels of client satisfaction by addressing operational concerns, resolving issues, and providing innovative solutions.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Use data analytics to monitor operational performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and present insights to senior management to drive decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in operations management, preferably in steel manufacturing
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in operational software, ADP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
