About the Role
The accounting team is seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join their ranks.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Analyzing account activity: Investigate and explain fluctuations in account balances, identify trends, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Accurately recording financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles.
- Financial statement review: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Participating in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments. Reconciling balance sheet accounts to supporting documentation.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports.
Process Improvement and Special Projects
The ideal candidate will also contribute to:
- Identifying opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Special projects: Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting projects as needed.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need a BA in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
