Typical Responsibilities of the Accountant:
- Record financial transactions through journal entries to the general ledger
- Reconcile both internal and external accounts
- Oversee internal audits
- Support other various procedures as necessary for the accounting department
Preferred Qualifications for the Accountant Role:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Prior work experience as an accountant or in a similar role
