  • CFS is working with a well-established, family-owned company to identify an Accounting Assistant to join their team!
  • They are committed to work / life balance for every employee, and allow flexible schedules!
  • The Accounting Assistant will support AP and AR processes.

Overview of the Accounting Assistant role :

  • Data entry of invoices
  • Review vendor statements to ensure all invoices are received
  • Set up new customer accounts
  • Post payments to the General Ledger
  • Make collections calls for invoices 30 days overdue
  • Assist with filing and other projects as necessary

    • Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Assistant :

  • Associate's degree in accounting or 2-3 years of experience in an accounts payable, accounts receivable, or accounting assistant role
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Proficiency with Excel and a major ERP system

    • Location : This role is 100% onsite in South Bend, IN

    Salary : $39,450 - $49,450 depending on experience
