We are seeking an Accounting Associate for a prestigious, private consulting base in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation. The candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities :
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including the processing of invoices and payments
- Prepare and process journal entries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Manage cash flow and forecasting
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Work with tax providers on tax related reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
