Accounts Payable Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support our Accounting Department. In this role, you will assist the Accounting Manager in ensuring seamless accounts payable processes across all brands. Your key responsibilities will include invoice processing, inventory 3-way matching, disbursement issuance, vendor issue resolution, and month-end duties related to intercompany transactions.Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable according to company policies, including:
- Entering invoices
- Conducting inventory 3-way matching
- Managing month-end accruals
- Overseeing check-runs
- Reconciling statements
- Communicating with vendors
- Maintain up-to-date vendor records, including credit information, W-9s, certificates, and other required documentation
- Assist in reporting and filing annual Form 1099s
- Support the maintenance of the Vendor Scorecard
- Collaborate with Procurement to ensure accurate item costs by reviewing item pricing, customs, and tariffs
- Handle intercompany transactions across multiple companies
- Test and ensure process integrity following system changes and enhancements
- Research and interpret data to answer accounting and financial questions
- Assist with the preparation and execution of the year-end audit
- Maintain and update process documentation to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as needed

Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (preferred)
Experience & Skills:
- 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
