About the Chief Financial Officer role

  • This is a key role which will serve as a right and person to the CEO with full financial oversight of the organization.
  • Oversee AP, AR, general accounting and FPA.
  • Oversight of all fiscal reporting
  • Financial planning, budgeting management, capitalization and controls including ongoing process improvements.
  • Work with large and small financial institutions / foundations / investors to secure and negotiate new capital.
  • Primary point of contact to the Finance and Audit Committee
  • Oversight of capital development, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

    • Key Knowledge and Skills for the Chief Financial Officer role

  • Master's degree. CPA Preferred.
  • Not for profit accounting (fund accounting experience) from within the finance departments of either a government entity or a federal credit union. With 3-5 years' experience in a financial leadership role.
  • Solid background in financial modeling.
