Company Overview
The established manufacturing organization seeks a skilled Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, ensuring quality and efficiency in processes. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex reconciliations of operating and payroll bank accounts to the general ledger.
• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and maintain detailed financial schedules and Excel spreadsheets for audits and inquiries.
• Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and systems.
• Assist with payroll.
• Manage fixed assets.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Exceptional Excel skills (advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and complex formulas).
• Public accounting experience required.
