Corporate Financial Risk Manager

Job Summary

The Credit & Collections Manager PR plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial stability of our organization. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Finance, this professional will oversee the commercial business credit function and manage all credit and accounts receivable activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain upstream reports to senior management to monitor financial condition of high-risk, high-volume accounts.
• Provide management of all credit and accounts receivable activities, including Collect Group Deposits, post Credit Card payments and chargebacks.
• Evaluate credit processing and approval, and make changes to ensure the financial stability of the organization.
• Assist with month end closing, borrowing base calculation and general ledger reconciliation.
• Work with the legal team to help recover cash flow from nonperforming accounts.
• Develop and maintain best-in-class department operations, including workflow technologies and policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills to investigate and analyze risks associated with client's credit.
• Ability to work effectively with other members of the financial team to evaluate credit processing and approval.
• Excellent communication skills to work with sales team and customers, review policies and procedures, and make recommendations for amendments.
• Knowledge of workflow technologies to maintain a best-in-class operation.
• Ability to assist with monthly tasks of account reconciliation, borrowing base calculation, and account adjustments.
