Data & Financial Analyst - Time to Grow with an Established Firm! About the Company Working as the Data / Financial Analyst

  • CFS New York is currently working with a Law Firm that specializes in securities fraud in Midtown Manhattan who are looking for their next Financial Analyst to help grow the team
  • The firm is well renowned, its attorneys have won several awards and accolades over the years and have a great reputation for getting the best settlement for their clients
  • This is an excellent opportunity that offers a competitive salary, and great benefits such as 100% Medical for one of their plans, dental, vision, and a 401K that has a 100% match.
  • This role is in the office in their Midtown location near all train lines and Grand Central Station

Responsibilities of the Data / Financial Analyst

  • Calculate losses from publicly traded investments under the securities laws accounting methodologies
  • Analyze corporate insider transactions to determine the profit they realized from selling shares
  • Perform comparative analyses to determine potential arguments for legal cases
  • Work with the firm's attorneys regarding quantitative aspects of litigation

    • What you bring to the table as a Data / Financial Analyst

  • 5 years of related experience in an FP&A role; ideal industries include : Law Firm, Financial Services / Investment Management firms
  • Bachelors in Accounting / Finance; MBA is a major plus
  • High level of advanced Excel and other reporting software; Bloomberg Terminal is a plus
  • Experience managing and training a team
