Freight AP Specialist Location : Aurora, CO 100% onsite, full-time About the Role : Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Freight AP Specialist to join their accounting team. This role is ideal for someone with high-volume, full-cycle AP experience who is comfortable with multi-location operations and freight invoices. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate invoice processing, matching freight invoices to POs, and maintaining an organized workflow for timely payments. Key AP Specialist Responsibilities : Invoice Entry & Processing (60%) Enter 600 invoices per week, ensuring accurate coding and site-specific allocation across 11 locations. Perform 3-way matching for freight invoices, verifying rates, bills of lading, and proof of delivery (POD). Work in Infor (CloudSuite / SyteLine) or a similar ERP system to process invoices efficiently. Check Run & Payment Processing (25%) Prepare for twice-weekly check runs (Tuesdays & Thursdays), processing 300-500 checks per run. Reconcile invoices and ensure proper approvals before payments. Research & Reconciliation (15%) Investigate invoice variances and work with internal teams to resolve discrepancies. Ensure all invoices are entered upon receipt and filed based on due dates for timely payment. Follow up on pending items every Friday to tie up loose ends before the next check run. Minimum AP Specialist Requirements : 2 years of high-volume, full-cycle AP experience with 3-way matching. Experience working with freight invoices and multi-location AP. Familiarity with larger ERP systems such as Infor, SAP, or similar. Basic Excel skills for tracking invoices and resolving variances. Highly organized, deadline-driven, and reliable. Strong collaboration skills-able to work in a laid-back, hardworking, and friendly environment. Preferred AP Specialist Qualifications : Accounting coursework or background.
