Inventory Analyst Role
This newly created position offers a unique opportunity to join a growing small manufacturing company as an Inventory Analyst. You'll take ownership of the inventory accounting process, clean up and organize existing systems, and help implement improved processes.
The role offers long-term growth opportunities, potentially evolving into a Cost Accountant position in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and improve existing inventory accounting processes.
- Develop and implement guidelines and controls for inventory reconciliation and management.
- Collaborate with the inventory operations team to perform reconciliations and monthly counts.
- Conduct cost analysis and assist with organizing and streamlining inventory data.
- Support accounts payable by setting up wire transfers during the prepayment period for suppliers in China and Taiwan.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of inventory accounting experience in a small manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to clean up inventory systems and create processes for accurate accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables).
- Familiarity with Sage or QuickBooks is a plus.
