In this role, you'll be assisting & supporting the design & implementation of physical networks, systems, and data systems. This would include client onboardings, server migrations, O365 migrations, troubleshooting systems and networks, and assisting with remote access solutions, administration and maintenance.
Preferred Experience of the IT Field Technician :
Confident and comfortable with client-facing activity.2 years of Help Desk, Technical Support, Field Technician or related experience.Experience with user administration using Active Directory (adding / removing users, manipulating users / groups).Office 365 / Microsoft 365 Administration through the Admin Portal / Center, and Exchange mailbox creation.Ability to troubleshoot, setup or configure hardware.Network maintenance, network server checks, scanning server logs, etc.Knowledge of firewalls, switches, wireless access points (WAP) and VLANs.Knowledge of Windows Server and workstations.Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP / IP, subnetting, routing, DNS, DHCP, Ping, Traceroute.Understanding of firewalls to get clients remotely connected with a VPN.Experience working with and providing support utilizing Remote Management Tools like ConnectWise.Comfortable interacting with clients over the phone, chat, or face-to-face.Bonus Experience of the IT Field Technician :
IT / Technology Certifications (e.g. Watchguard, CompTIA A , Microsoft Certifications or Cisco).Experience with any of the following : ConnectWise, Entra ID, Azure AD, IT Glue, Group Policy, SolarWinds, WatchGuard, Ruckus, Veeam, Cisco Networking Products, Ubiquiti, VMWare, Dell, or Adobe.Experience working for an IT managed service provider.Experience with LAN / WAN, Routers, Switches, Watchguard Firewalls, Access Points, VPN, Citrix, VoIP, etc.Familiarity with how to access virtual machines from hosts using VMware or Hyper-V.Benefits :
