Job Title: Principal Indirect Tax Analyst (Property & Sales/Use)
Salary Range: $85,500 – $115,000 (Depending on experience and qualifications)

What You’ll Do:
Tax Compliance & Reporting
Prepare and review accurate, timely property and sales/use tax filings. Reconcile tax accounts and manage payment processes in compliance with all applicable deadlines.Technology & Data-Driven Insights
Help advance tax technology capabilities by identifying system enhancements and leveraging data analytics for more efficient and accurate reporting.Tax Research & Application
Analyze laws, rulings, and guidance to support compliance and transaction taxability decisions. Implement regulatory changes as needed.Tax Accounting & Forecasting
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual tax accounting and forecasting. Ensure activities align with GAAP, SOX, and internal standards. Recommend and help execute process improvements.Audit Management
Lead or support audit processes from start to resolution. Collaborate with external auditors and internal stakeholders using a data-informed approach.Strategic Initiatives
Participate in planning and research initiatives that contribute to long-term tax strategy and operational improvements.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, MIS, Data Science, or a related field
5–10 years of progressive experience in indirect tax, ideally with exposure to both property and sales/use tax
Proficiency in tax or ERP systems and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, etc.)
Strong research, problem-solving, and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
Advanced credentials (CPA, CMA, CFA, JD, or Master’s degree) are valued and may substitute for a portion of experience
