SharePoint Document Specialist
Immediate need | Hybrid schedule | Lake Oswego, OR
We are currently seeking a SharePoint Document Specialist for our client in the hospitality industry. Once training is completed the SharePoint Document Specialist is a hybrid schedule to work a couple of days a week remotely. Key Responsibilities of the SharePoint Document Specialist :
- Organize the knowledge base intranet to prepare it for document upload
- Travel to the properties, review all documents and determine what meets the criteria for being moved to the knowledge base
- Collecting all of those documents digitally
- Review all documents to ensure they are error-free (e.g., formatting, grammar, spelling, etc.)
- Working with the department managers, GMs, and appropriate executive team members to standardize the "look" of all documents and consolidate where possible
- Classify and sort documents based on established categories
- Recreate any "hard copy only" documents to digital
- Ensure proper categorization and tagging for easy retrieval
- Do a final review with all department managers
- Conduct training at properties on how to use the knowledge base
- Providing back-up document control support as needed on other projects
