Essential Job Functions of Technical Support Specialist :
- Provide technical assistance
- Troubleshoot and support issues related to computer systems, software, and regularly monitor the internal help desk system for pending tickets
- Ask questions to determine nature of problem and help walk customer through problem-solving
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware
- Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolves
- Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur
- Document all incidents and occurrences using clear, concise, and detailed notes
