Union Dues Associate

About the Company & Position :

My client is one of the largest unions for service workers in the US; extremely stable and in existence over 80 years!
Community driven mission statement- supporting members daily in the fight for higher pay, better healthcare and safety.
10 locations nationwide and over 150,000 members
Excellent training provided
Position will be fully on site in convenient Midtown, Manhattan location. Vaccination is required

Responsibilities :

Apply and accept payments for union dues via cash, check, and credit card, lock box and wire transfers

Assist members with authorizing employer to deduct union dues from paychecks

Work with members regarding any customer service-related inquiries such as over or under deductions, enrollment issues among other items

Handle personal and confidential data with sensitivity.

Experience Preferred :

2 years of relevant experience in either accounting, administrative support, bookkeeping, etc.

Intermediate Excel skills (working experience with v lookups pivot tables a plus)

Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
