MAJOR FUNCTION:
The Quality Technician will be responsible for understanding and providing assistance around Customer Returns including RMA initiation and cause of nonconformance, understand and support audits, assist in control and/or revision of documents, assist managing Quality Training records, assist managing Gage Control, assist training new Quality Associates with inspection requirements and Quality expectations, and communicate with management on daily activities and suggest improvements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Working with QC Department personnel, production employees and management in compliance with ISO 13485 and other regulatory requirements for quality management systems.
2. Understand and ability to support audits
a. Internal audits
b. Customer audits
c. ISO audits
d. FDA audit
e. Supplier audits
3. Responsible for assisting training and guiding QA/QC department personnel with the inspection and testing of customer manufactured parts and data reporting into ERP system.
4. Accurately complete data entry requirements and access project requirements and specifications in Plex. This may include maintaining specifications under supervision.
5. Communicate effectively with co-workers using verbal, written, and electronic media.
6. Work effectively in a team-environment.
7. Work independently and with other team members to solve daily production concerns.
8. Work independently and within the work team to complete individual and team goals.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. ISO 13485 and/or FDA and other quality management experience.
DESIRED SKILLS FOR THE JOB:

2. Ability to work in a team environment.
3. Competent with computer information system input and usage.
