SUMMARY:
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment. Functions may include but are not limited to monitoring and administration of Environmental, Health and Safety training, documentation of such training, conducting incident investigations or assisting with investigations, monitor and schedule all inspections, monthly environmental grounds walks, 5S board maintenance and updates, maintain and add SDS’s for any new materials, quarterly environmental inspections and plant wide safety bingo. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Generate Key Performance Indicators to Ensure Corporate and Standard Requirements
Monitor and Administer Training for Aerial Lifts, Fall Arrest PASS
Ensure that All injuries are Properly Recorded in a Timely Manner and Implement Short Term Long Term Corrective Actions
Monitor and Maintain Proper Documentation from Monthly Safety Meetings
Add Safety Related Media to Plant Wide Monitors and Plex System
Maintain TPM Safety Related Items
Post Update JHA Information at each Work Center
Perform all Emergency Drills – Fire, Tornado, Active Shooter
Maintain all Customer Capacity Portals
Responsible for Customer Packaging and Fleet Calculations
Participate in Value Improvement Process
Participate in Evaluation and Implementation of Employee Suggestions
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED, and safety or a robust working knowledge of EHS regulations preferred. Experience in ISO 14001, ISO 45001 as well as OSHA 10 OR 30 Certification.
