SUMMARY
This position is responsible for supporting the manufacturing operations with a clean, safe work environment and to supply specified materials, which enables uninterrupted, high-quality production. Organization of work is essential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- To keep materials storage area clean and organized, all material tagged and weighted.
- Load, unload, pack and unpack materials using Forklift.
- Removing trash from the plant to the dumpster during the shift
- Ability to read a bar coder scanner to scan in material to plant or to lines as required.
- Moving finished goods to their storage areas and putting them away properly
- Supplying packaging supplies to the relief operators on demand
- The safe operations of equipment and handling of material in tight areas
- Identifying potential safety hazards and addressing
- Identifying potential quality problems (spillage and contamination) and addressing
- Any job assigned to you by your supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS

The ability to read production schedules and react as part of a team.- The ability to receive assignments and interact with all personnel.
- Must have valid drivers license and be able to obtain a forklift certification
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Hi-lo license
