Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Respond to phone calls on the pre-intake line.
- Scheduling consumers for intake appointments.
- Gathering appropriate information and checking insurance.
- Corresponding with referral sources, (hospitals, other agencies, etc.) to schedule first time appointments.
- Prepare intake packets for scheduled intake appointments.
- Perform administrative procedures pertaining to assignment of consumer.
- Entering consumer data into the electronic health records.
- Running reports as needed upon request.
- Other duties assigned by the Office Manager/Insurance Specialist.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication skills.
