Responsibilities
- Set up workstations
- Complete monthly inventory, par sheets, waste sheet, etc
- Create menus, shopping lists, allergy lists etc...
- Cook dishes to business standards for a licensed childcare program
- Follow health and safety guidelines per Health Departments requirements
- Complete USDA training and any other required trainings for a licensed childcare program
- Prepare ingredients (fresh whole foods) for use during shift
- Sliced and diced for children under 5 years old
- Food must taste good!
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a cook
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Pay strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Be fun and positive
- Love to use fresh ingredients
- Food Handling Certification or can attain one.
***Will need a high school diploma/GED and pass a background check.***
