What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead or Associate Teacher position at Creative Imaginations Child Care Center, LLC?
We are seeking a passionate full time lead or associate qualified teacher to join our fun, easy going, flexible, and energetic group of dedicated teachers that we currently have. This individual should have a minimum of 3 credits in child growth and development and a minimum of 1000 hours of experience working in a licensed child care center.
Ideally seeking candidates with 12 credits in ECE and 3000 hours of experience in a licensed child care program, public or private elementary school, or 18 credits with 1000 hours of experience in one of the previously mentioned settings.
Associates degree in ECE or a related field preferred but not required.
Candidate must be available to work between the hours of 7:00 - 5:30, though you would typically have a set weekly schedule. Must also be available during public school vacation weeks, holidays that we are open, public school snow days if we remain open, and during the summer.
the right candidate for us is a teacher that is able to work well with others, has a positive attitude, and willingness to work alongside either our toddler OR preschool lead teachers to create and implement developmentally appropriate activities.
Duties
As a lead teacher, candidates will be responsible for the supervision and general care needs of the children in their classroom. Teachers have the flexibility to use their own creativity to create lesson plans for their classrooms and are provided a monthly budget for materials. We offer paid planning time and professional development assistance.
As an associate teacher you will either work alongside another teacher or may work as an acting lead depending on your experience and qualifications.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must have experience working in a licensed child care center and knowledge of child growth and development and NH Child Care Licensing rules and regulations.
