What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Toddler Teacher position at Creative Imaginations Child Care Center, LLC?
We are seeking a passionate full time lead qualified teacher to join our fun, easy going, flexible, and energetic group of dedicated teachers that we currently have. This individual should be lead qualified, have a minimum of 12 credits in ECE with 3000 hours of experience in a licensed child care program, public or private elementary school, or 18 credits with 1000 hours of experience in one of the previously mentioned settings. Associates degree in ECE or a related field preferred but not required. Candidate must be available to work between the hour of 7:00 - 5:30, though you would typically have a set weekly schedule.
Our toddler classroom has a maximum of 9 children to 2 teachers, making it an ideal and small group for more individualized and small group activities.
Duties
As a lead teacher, candidates will be responsible for the supervision and general care needs of the children in their classroom. Teachers have the flexibility to use their own creativity to create lesson plans for their classrooms and are provided a monthly budget for materials. We offer paid planning time and professional development assistance.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must have experience working in a licensed child care center and knowledge of child growth and development and NH Child Care Licensing rules and regulations. Candidates should have a minimum of 12 credits in ECE or a related field.
