Role and Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical leadership to users and team members with complex technical planning and task management during implementation of system upgrades to the newest version of products.
- Perform evening and weekend work as necessary.
- The willingness and ability to successfully help members of the institution with their system needs.
Minimum Qualification
- 10 years of experience with Oracle Software, in particular Oracle 19c RDBMS installation, patching, performance, and networking
- Experience serving as a leader and Banner expert within the IT department
- Understanding of the technical architecture of the Ellucian Banner 9 software suite (specially Finance and HR)
- Experience with Ellucian Banner and Ellucian ODS - Specifically Banner 9/ODS 9, OFM/WebLogic, E-Procurement, eInvoice, IntelleCheck, Ellucian Page Builder, with installation, upgrades, and customer support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of relational databases.
Must have qualification:
- Proficient in use of SQL, PL/SQL.
- Experience with an integrated enterprise database and the use of database functions, procedures, triggers, indexes, etc.
- Experience working with Linux, Windows, Java, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Tomcat and OpenJDK.
- Proven experience troubleshooting complex Banner system issues
- Ability to quickly and accurately troubleshoot Oracle database issues and offer effective solutions.
- Experience as a functional expert within Banner system utilized within hospital or higher education.
