Role and Responsibilities
Associate’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and experience in IT.
7 years of experience in enterprise RDBMS Database administration with large-scale, mission-critical applications (Microsoft SQL Server 2012 ).
Experience with Database Server c and Optimization tools.
Experience managing database backup, restore and data archiving tasks.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server security best practices.
Advanced knowledge of AlwaysOn, Transactional Replication, Clustering and T-SQL.
Experience with implementing database upgrades.
Experience with Database PAAS solutions in a cloud solution.
Experience with CI CD process and setup from database end.
Scripting knowledge for automating day to day tasks (Shell script, Power shell).
Knowledge on Azure Data Factory.
Knowledge on ETL data warehouse architecture.
Working experience on CDC tools & replication.
Installs, Patches, upgrades, and maintains the system health
Preferred Qualification
Certifications in Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with T SQL scripts and Batches.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS / SSAS).
Knowledge on No SQL databases like Cosmos DB or Mongo DB.
