Role and Responsibilities
JOB TITLE: GIS Program Managers
Contractors will provide comprehensive GIS support, including but not limited to:
- Data Management: Data extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and modelling.
- Application Development: Building and maintaining GIS applications using scripting, geo- processing, and other relevant tools.
- System Administration: Configuring, integrating, and optimizing GIS software and hardware.
- Analysis and Reporting: Conducting spatial analysis and generating reports to support decision-making. User Support: Providing technical assistance and training to LaDOTD staff
Minimum Qualification
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
ESRIs Suite of Desktop and Enterprise softwareExpertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
- Provide Agile Method of Project Management
Knowledge of the State’s procurement, invoicing and payment methodologies
