Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and assisting in their educational development.
Responsibilities
- Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Assist in creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for children
- Help with classroom management and behavior guidance
- Aid in developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
- Assist with daily childcare tasks
Requirements
- Experience working with children, preferably in a daycare or educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Strong behavior management skills
- Ability to assist in classroom management and lesson planning
- Familiarity with Montessori education is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
