Summary
We are seeking a Chemical Technician to join our team at Creative Lawn & Landscapes Inc. This role is essential in ensuring the effective application of chemicals for lawn care and pest control, contributing to the health and aesthetics of our clients' landscapes. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Apply chemicals for pest control and lawn care according to safety regulations and best practices.
- Conduct soil tests and analyze results to determine chemical needs.
- Maintain accurate records of chemical applications and inventory.
- Collaborate with landscape teams to ensure optimal plant health and aesthetics.
- Educate clients on proper lawn care techniques and chemical usage.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding chemical applications.
Requirements
- Knowledge of chemical application techniques and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience in lawn care or pest control preferred.
- Current Applicator License A, E and L preferred
- Must possess a valid drivers license with clean driving record
- Previous applicator experience using a ride-on spreader/sprayer preferred, experience in lawn care and landscape helpful
- Must be able to safely operate equipment and provide preventative maintenance to keep equipment in working order

This is a full time seasonal position with opportunity for year round employment for the right candidate. Monday-Thursday (weather dependent) work weeks. 40 hours a week. Snow plowing in winter.
