Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that promotes learning and development
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children to thrive
- Conduct educational activities including storytelling, arts and crafts, and music
- Monitor and assess students' progress to ensure developmental milestones are met
- Collaborate with parents to support each child's individual needs
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning
- Implement effective classroom management strategies
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of various teaching methods and educational approaches
- Familiarity with Montessori or other progressive teaching philosophies is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities tailored to young learners' needs
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
