Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a solid background in industrial maintenance, with expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to fabricate solutions as needed. The Maintenance Supervisor will play a critical role in maintaining equipment reliability and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance.
- Oversee the maintenance of all equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (IQMS) to track work orders, schedules, and inventory.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to diagnose problems.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising a maintenance team within an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and industrial maintenance practices, Plastic injection molding a plus.
- Proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Familiarity with IQMS software for tracking maintenance activities.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to addressing technical challenges.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
