- AUTOMOTIVE Experience Preferred.
- Ensures employees complete safety training, safe work environment established, leads department safety team, provides leadership for plant wide program.
- Establish Process department metrics and tracking systems.
- Leads and supervises Process Technicians; works directly with team processing, die setting and troubleshooting.
- Administers process control system and process control procedure
- Assist with problem solving activities to improve areas of deficiency to performance metrics.
- Maintain partnership and communication with Plant Manager and Molding Manager to adjust and manage campus priorities
- Submits work orders for maintenance and tooling items
- CES continuous improvement initiative coordinator as needed
- Works closely with Plant Managers/Molding Manager
- Coordinates technical training
- Conduct annual performance reviews.
- Perform and assist in mold try outs
- Works closely with the SCM (scheduling)
- Attends Leaders Forum
- SMED and OEE responsibility by shift
- Assists with the development of technician performance measurements
- Diagnoses machine malfunctions and ensures corrective actions occur in a timely manner
- Full shift and operational technician responsibility for setup and process technical personnel
- Responsible for technical support of facilities, injection molding machines, robots, and secondary equipment
- Works with team to make improvements that support corporate goals and objectives
- Assures consistent practices between plants in regards to systems, programs, policies, specifications, and standards\
- Coordinates with maintenance/fab and other departments to assure all regulatory requirements are met (i.e. safety, security, building codes, etc.)
- Serves as a resource person for technical and customer issues within the organization
- Ability to interact well with internal customers & outside suppliers; understands the value of customer service
- Supports lean manufacturing initiatives (CES) and ensures technical participation

- Experience and understanding of plastic properties and behavior under molding condition

- Strong computer skills; MS Office package- Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding equipment
- Demonstrated ability in planning, organizing, controlling, coordinating, and supervising a technical operations team
- Strong team development skills and project management skills
- Strong experience in plastic injection molding and industrial troubleshooting
- Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills in English AND Spanish
- Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and system documentation.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of Managers, Customers, and other associates.
