Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficient and safe production of high-quality parts. This role requires a strong understanding of machinery operation, quality control, and team management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Ensures employees complete safety training, safe work environment established and leads department safety team.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
- Supervise and guide molding operators, ensuring they follow safety procedures and operate machinery correctly.
- Monitor production progress and identify potential bottlenecks or issues.
- Ensure timely completion of production runs and meet production deadlines.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all molded parts meet specifications.
- Monitor quality metrics, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent reoccurrence.
- Ensure proper functioning of all molding machines, including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel for machine repairs and upgrades.
- Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety regulations and procedures.
- Conduct safety inspections and training sessions for operators.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare and submit production reports, quality reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Track production metrics, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
- Support ISO140001, IATF 16949 audits, guidelines, and initiatives.
