Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at Creative Living Options. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, helping them lead independent lives and participate fully in their communities.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities.
- Monitor client health and well-being, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.
- Support clients in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their independence.
- Assist with mobility needs, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting as needed.
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid certification is a plus.
- Experience in group home or home care settings is beneficial.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
