As a Direct Support Professional at Creative Living Options, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to lead independent and meaningful lives. This position is essential in helping clients achieve their personal goals while fostering community integration.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in daily activities and personal care.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Assist clients in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Observe and document client progress and behaviors accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to create individualized support plans.
- Facilitate community engagement and participation for clients.
Requirements
- Experience in patient care or direct support roles preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
