Position Overview
This position entails working in an open environment space gasketing, studding/pemming and other required assembly details. This is not an assembly line environment and we encourage team work and growth to other departments after mastering your skills as an assembler. You will sometimes work in a team and other times individually. You must be able to stand for long periods of time, use hand tools and be flexible between cabinet and other assembly.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- 1 years' experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment desirable but not required.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and interpreting technical terms
- Experience reading blueprints
- Ability and experience meeting deadlines
- Ability to work at a reasonable pace with goals but not an assembly line environment
- Must be very detail oriented and thorough with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to maintain the tools used to create products
- Engaging personality capable of generating and growing meaningful relationships with coworkers.
- Ability to install hardware and/or gaskets into components and enclosures
- Experience with cabinet assembly a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
