What will you be doing?
- Machine Operation: With training you will set up and operate the turret punch press, including selecting and installing appropriate dies and punches.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine the specifications and requirements for each job with help from lead and supervisor.
- Material Handling: Load metal sheets onto the machine and position them correctly to ensure accurate punching.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on the punch press, including cleaning and lubricating the machine, and replacing worn parts as needed.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any operational issues with the machine to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of production output, machine maintenance, and any issues encountered during the punching process.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Must be detail oriented and thorough with excellent written/verbal communication.
- Action-oriented, customer service-oriented attitude, taking initiative to follow projects and jobs through the production process.
- Engaging personality capable of generating and growing meaningful relationships with coworkers and customers.
Preferred Experience
- 1 years' working in a metal fabrication environment
- Ability to do math with an attention to detail to use measuring tools and perform set ups.
- Knowledge of Turret Punch Press or school trained would be a huge plus but not required
- Experience reading blueprints
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent, relevant experience
- Experience working in ISO 9001 certified environment

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
