Job Responsibilities:

• Perform sanding, grinding, buffing, and polishing to achieve desired finishes on various metal products.
• Examine metal surfaces to identify imperfections and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Safely operate and maintain finishing tools, such as grinders, polishers, and sanders.
• Address surface defects, such as scratches, dents, or weld marks, using appropriate techniques.
• Work closely with fabricators, welders, and quality control teams to ensure smooth workflow and product consistency.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in metal finishing, fabrication, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with metal finishing tools, equipment, and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
