What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art Director position at Creative Niche?
We are supporting an award winning US based agency with an Art Director search for their New York office! As the Art Director, you will be responsible for creating innovative ideas, and managing their visual execution through all forms of media.
Responsibilities:
- Working in partnership with a Copywriter to develop and design great creative concepts and presentation approaches
- Develop visual art direction and provide art direction expertise
- Generating effective visual dramatizations of selling ideas and generating imaginative design for ads
- Taking responsibility for finalizing files, prepping for printers and maintaining existing quality standards
- Directing photoshoots and videos when needed
- Designing advertising and design projects (anything from logos and brand identity, to websites and experiential design)
- Ensures the quality, craft, and implementation of all work done on assigned projects
- Delivers work on time, on target and and budget
- Collaborate with writers, strategists, account management, and clients
- Understand the Client's business, brand, products and customers
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in an agency setting
- Strong capabilities in both conceptual thinking as well as execution
- Integrated campaign experience with a deep portfolio demonstrating social, digital, OOH, PR, experiential and more
- Fashion experience is a bonus
- Portfolio demonstrating culture driven work and the ability to connect with various audiences
This role will be 3 days onsite per week in the heart of NYC
