Job Summary:
The Regional Account Manager is responsible for generating sales revenue by promoting and selling spray foam insulation and other company products to customers. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying sales opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service. The Sales Representative will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales targets.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within a specific geographic area.
- Coordinate product demonstrations and presentations to educate customers on the benefits of spray foam insulation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and other industry professionals to generate leads and referrals.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Negotiate pricing and terms of sale to meet customer needs while maximizing profitability.
- Provide ongoing support and assistance to customers throughout the sales process, including addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating installations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market developments to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment of sales efforts and overall business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels using CRM software.
- Managing assigned territory effectively by planning and scheduling sales visits, meetings, and events. This may involve routine travel within the region to meet with clients, prospects, and attending industry related conventions.
Qualifications
Job Requirement:
Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of insulation envelop, spray foam insulation, and building science.
- Comprehensive understanding of sales techniques, methodologies, and principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field highly preferred.
- Three to five years of sales experience required.
- Three to five years of experience in the industry, specializing in Spray Foam and other polyurethane-based coating products.
