Shift/Hours: M-F; 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Pay Rate: $22 - 25 per hour, DOE

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Marketing Assistant/Intern performs a range of duties, including but not limited to the following:

• Work with the Marketing Manager and Graphic Designers to create custom products for clients
• Writing and developing various types of marketing content, such as website copy, blog posts, social media posts, email campaigns, advertising copy, product descriptions, and promotional materials
• Copy editing and proofreading; Ensuring that all written materials are grammatically correct, error-free, and adhere to the company's style guidelines and brand voice.
• Collaborating with marketing team members to brainstorm ideas, contribute to marketing plans, and provide support in implementing marketing initiatives
• Providing general administrative support such as organizing files, scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and maintaining marketing materials and inventory
• Assisting in creating visually appealing marketing materials such as social media graphics, brochures, flyers, banners, and other promotional materials
• Editing and enhancing product images, photographs, or other visual assets using image editing software to ensure they meet the desired quality and aesthetic standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience with Adobe and/or Photoshop is required
• Experience with videography, video editing, photography, or 3D modeling a plus
• Pursuing or have recently completed a degree in marketing, creative writing, business administration, communications, or a related field
• Previous experience in Marketing is encouraged, including personal projects
• An understanding of basic marketing principles and strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; writing samples strongly encouraged
• A keen eye for detail, ensuring that content is error-free and follows brand guidelines
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or sit in a stationary position for long periods; occasionally move around the office and reach into cabinets, drawers, etc.; ability to lift up to 10 pounds.

Working Conditions: Standard office environment with fluorescent lighting, regular interruptions, and a standard noise level. Occasional travel.

Providing writing samples, portfolio, or other platforms that advertise and personify marketing skills or passions is greatly encouraged.
