Extruder Operator

Creative Safety Supply is looking to add a new Extruder Maintenance Associate to our team. If you are an individual with prior warehouse/machine operation experience who works well independently and as part of a team, this is the job for you. Our Equipment Operators, including the Extruder Maintenance Associate, support our dynamic warehouse team through the manufacturing of our top-quality products. As a part of the warehouse team, you will also assist with machine preventative maintenance, inventory, and maintaining a safe environment.

What you’ll do

• Work in our Warehouse assisting with preventative maintenance and operation of the Extrusion machine to manufacture company products
• Complete initial daily set up/inspection, end of day procedures, and/or calibration of the extrusion machine as needed
• Work closely with the Warehouse Team to meet production targets and other goals
• Participate in safety training and initiatives as assigned
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs as needed
• Adhere closely to company procedures and safety policies
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need to succeed

• Effective communication skills; understand basic English

• 2-4 years of previous machine process experience preferred; Extrusion experience highly preferred
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to meet goals/deadlines
• Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks
• Excellent attention to detail
• Shows initiative and looks for ways to improve the organization
• Ability to troubleshoot or problem-solve

The Details

Job Title: Extruder Operator

Reports to: Warehouse Manger

FLSA: Non-Exempt, Hourly

Shift/Hours: Full-time M-F; 8-hour shift between 6:00 am – 4:00 pm

Location: In Office (Not eligible for remote work)

Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour, DOE
