Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking an experienced Area Medical Records & Central Supply (MR/CS) Coordinator to join our growing team in the Goliad, Ganado, Bay City, Refugio, Weimar, and Victoria area. This role is vital in maintaining compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in medical records and central supply operations across multiple facilities. Success in this position requires reliability, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple locations while providing training and support to facility staff.
This position requires travel between multiple facilities within an assigned area. Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass fleet training.
Your Impact as an Area MR/CS Coordinator
In this role, you will:
- Oversee Medical Records Management: Ensure systematic organization, accessibility, and compliance of medical records with company, state, and federal regulations.
- Train Facility Staff: Educate facility medical records and central supply staff on proper organization, compliance, and system usage to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Conduct Facility Audits & Compliance Checks: Complete chart audits and compliance rounds to ensure medical records are complete, organized, and accessible.
- Analyze & Improve Operations: Validate facility reports to identify additional training needs and areas for operational improvements.
- Manage Central Supply Inventory: Review and approve nursing supply orders and rental equipment while ensuring adherence to budget guidelines and par level management.
- Monitor Supply Organization & Compliance: Ensure central supply areas are properly maintained with no excessive overstock or expired supplies.
- Support Multiple Facilities: While maintaining compliance at your home facility, provide support and oversight to assigned locations to ensure consistency and efficiency in MR/CS operations.
- Communicate with Leadership: Professionally collaborate with facility administrators, department supervisors, and corporate offices to ensure seamless coordination of MR/CS functions.
